Critical illness
A serious diagnosis costs twice. The treatment, and the pause in your life. This is for the second cost.
Treatment ends at the hospital. A serious illness sends a second bill: the income that stops while your life is on pause.
Who this is really about
Cancer, heart attack, stroke. Thailand’s three most common severe illnesses. Survival rates keep improving, but recovery is measured in years. Health insurance pays the doctors; it doesn’t pay the school fees or the mortgage while you recover. This plan is for the second bill.
Exclusions first. Always.
- 01
Each disease has a precise definition in the policy. Early-stage cancers of some types may not yet qualify. Read the definitions before signing, not at claim time.
- 02
There’s a waiting period after the policy starts, and many plans require surviving a set period after diagnosis before paying out.
- 03
Conditions that existed before you applied, or weren’t declared, aren’t covered. Full honesty on the application is the only way this plan actually works.
Where we usually start
Multi Care (CIMC)
Covers up to 81 severe conditions, child to senior, with repeat claims for the big three: invasive cancer, acute heart attack, and stroke.
Underwritten by Allianz Ayudhya Assurance PCL · Please read and understand the coverage details and conditions before deciding to purchase insurance, every time.
Who it fits
The family’s main earner who can’t afford a long pause, anyone with a family history of these illnesses, and people who have health cover but nothing for the gap year.
